We give priority to Tuscan partners, to minimize transport costs and to support a healthy, micro-economy. Villa supplies are, whenever possible, provided by zero-mile partners and trusted Tuscan suppliers. This commitment reduces food miles, supports the local economy, and celebrates the authenticity of traditional Tuscan cuisine. When in season, guests are also invited to enjoy herbs and fruit grown directly on the estate, fostering a genuine connection with the land. Organic, vegetarian, and vegan options are available upon request.

Renewable Energy & Electric Vehicle Charging

Villa Santo Stefano alle Corti embraces renewable energy solutions, including photovoltaic panels (installation underway) that generate a significant portion of the property’s electricity. An on-site electric vehicle charging station wille be available upon request, encouraging low-emission travel throughout Tuscany and the Florence area.

Responsible Use of Energy & Water

As a meticulously restored 600-year-old stone villa, the property benefits from natural insulation and ventilation. Guests are kindly encouraged to support our conservation efforts by:

• Using air conditioning and heating thoughtfully
• Opting for natural ventilation and provided fans whenever possible
• Closing shutters during peak sunlight hours to maintain cooler interiors
• Turning off lights and electronic devices when not in use
• Conserving water and participating in towel reuse practices

These simple yet meaningful actions help preserve the surrounding Tuscan landscape.
