Villa Santo Stefano alle Corti is a meticulously restored 12th-century estate set in the serene Italian countryside.

Once home to a basilica-style chapel, the villa now incorporates a deconsecrated church, with its bell tower standing as a stunning focal point.

The property spans 950 square meters (10,226 square feet) and offers refined accommodations for 18 to 22 guests.

The villa combines historical grandeur with modern luxury, featuring expansive living spaces, a professionally appointed gourmet kitchen, and beautifully landscaped gardens.

It is ideal for multigenerational stays, private celebrations, and exclusive retreats.

The estate’s history dates back to 1187, with the original basilica-style chapel evolving over the centuries into a fully functioning church by 1260. Over time, the church underwent numerous architectural transformations, blending medieval and Renaissance styles. A bell tower was added in the late 1300s, and the church was significantly enlarged and reconfigured to its present Latin-cross plan and Renaissance detailing in the 1400s. The earliest residence for the parish priest was also built in the 1400s. It consisted of a modest kitchen/sitting room on the ground floor (the present kitchen), with a narrow stairway leading to a corridor and two bedrooms on the first floor. A dovecote was present above, accessible only by ladder.  The residence was modified over the centuries, including a substantial expansion in the 1700s, with the introduction of decorative details, including a new fireplace and frescos, in the 1780s. Despite wartime damage in 1944, the church was carefully restored, and in 2017, it was deconsecrated. In 2018, the complex was designated a historic monument, preserving its cultural significance.
